As one of the few remaining members of the near extinct Yokai Clan, Obake has undergone intense training at the behest of his grandparents. At only seventeen, he's ready to become a full-fledged ninja, a feat most accomplish in their twenties. He attends an academy by day and visits a beautiful young woman in a forbidden land by night. Unfortunately, the mysterious circumstances of his parents' death plague him incessantly. His inability to find answers has left him resentful, yet that doesn't stop him from aspiring to become a bounty hunter. Despite it all, he vows that one day, he will get to the truth.
